Felicia Liang x Agnes and Sherman Houston Asiatown Risograph Print
This 11” x 14” risograph print is an homage to Houston Asiatown and beyond, done in collaboration with Agnes and Sherman. Design elements are pulled from architectural elements found throughout Asiatown, with the overall composition mirroring freestanding plaza signage that has the plaza name and the names of all the small businesses inside. The red and blue inks reflect Houston sports team colors (Astros, Rockets, UH).
These are printed at Tiny Splendor in Berkeley, CA.
Food spots include: Kim Son, Hong Kong City Mall, Fung’s Kitchen, Tan Tan, San Dong, Timmy Chan, Don’s Cafe, Sinh Sinh, Huynh Restaurant, Ocean Palace, Viet Hoa, House of Bowls, Thien An Sandwiches, Linda’s Tropical Fruits, Thien Thanh, Saigon Pagolac, Crawfish & Noodles, Din Huang Plaza, Genji’s.
11” x 14” print is on white vellum bristol paper, 145 gsm. Prints will be packaged in a cello sleeve with a chipboard backing. Risograph printing is a digital screen printing technique, so each print will have slight differences, making each print unique.
