Community Update - February

Highlights: 

  • We passed our fire inspection this week and have a health inspection to pass as our FINAL hurdle; in the meantime the kitchen is fired up and ready to cook

  • Our wonderful Management Team has been onboarded and we're 80% done with hiring. With their collective experiences coming from Michelin-recommended restaurants around town, we're confident in the team's ability to execute  

  • Press on press on (national) press!

NBD/No Big Deal (things that are not great but we are handling like pros):

  • While we had hoped that our furniture would've shipped in December, they ended up being shipped out a month later. Furniture is now in Houston and we're waiting on a delivery date. Never in Lisa's life did she think she'd be tracking a ship that closely

On deck: 

  • All staff training kicks off early April

Shout outs:

  • Thank you Derek for donating a new staff toilet to us. It's a luxury in this industry for staff to have its own restroom, nevermind a brand new, comfy bidet

  • Thank you Dwight and Kellyn for the kitchen clock -- a la The Bear -- that will remind our team to "love what it takes"

  • - Henry and Melissa for being super fans and dropping by all of our pop-ups with baby Margot
